Summer is a busy time for us here. In addition to working on a number of water quality evaluation and improvement projects in New Hampshire, we also just moved into the construction phase on a stream and wetland restoration project in Southern Maine. See the "Project Highlight" article below for more details.

This August I look forward to co-presenting with project partners at the the National Groundwater Association Groundwater Solutions Conference in Arlington, VA on lessons learned in assessing suitable sites for passive treatment of nitrogen in groundwater on Cape Cod. This year's conference theme is "Groundwater Solutions: Innovating to Address Emerging Issues for Groundwater Resources." Read more here.

We are also working with towns and land trusts to conserve important lands that protect water quality and wildlife habitat. See the link to land conservation grant resources in this newsletter as well.

Most of all we hope you can take time out to enjoy your favorite outdoor activity, whether a quiet moment at home or a vigorous hiking or water adventure. Summer is short!
