When I was a teenager, having a big butt made you the butt of jokes (as did having a pancake butt, like mine), but things have changed drastically since then.
In 1992, when Sir Mix-a-Lot released "Baby Got Back", the first fat transfers were just being described in medical journals. By the late 90's, fat grafting techniques were being perfected and the term "Braziliian Butt Lift" was coined.

Until fat transfers,

A requirement for the Brazilian but lift is that candidates must have at least 500 cc (about 1 lb.) of available fat to graft, so it isn't an option for lean women.

Have you ever looked at a photo of yourself (or your mom or your BFF) & noticed the face & neck appear lighter than the rest of the body?

New Study Shows Common Medical Dye Could Slow Aging in Human Skin

Researchers at the University of Maryland believe they're one step closer to discovering the elusive "fountain of Youth" with an inexpensive and safe chemical, used in the medical field for years, known as methylene blue.
In a four-week test, the researchers found evidence that methylene blue, an antioxidant, could slow - and potentially reverse - visible signs of aging when tested in cultured human skin cells obtained from middle aged donors.
Specifically, methylene blue application produced increased elastin (the substance responsible for the skin's elasticity), increased collagen, increased hydration and also promoted wound healing.
According to the study's authors, "
In summary, methylene blue, at nanomolar concentration, is potent to scavenge free radicals and stimulate cell proliferation in both young and old dermal fibroblasts. Methylene blue treatment on 3D reconstructed skin models provides strong evidence of its potential for improving skin viability, increasing skin hydration and thickness, promoting skin elastin and collagen synthesis, and protecting the skin matrix through the inhibition of enzymatic degradation. Altogether, our study suggests that methylene blue can be a promising agent for use in anti-aging cosmetics."

Profractional Laser Treatments Improve C-Section Scars
It's no surprise to us but a recent published study reports that ablative fractional lasers like our
Profractional, can improve the appearance and pliability of mature caesarean section scars.
One month after 3 treatments, improved pliability and smoother surfaces were seen, with even greater improvement noted six months after the treatment series.
