Nantasket Beach Resort
45 Hull Shore Drive, Hull
Free, Donations Welcome

Do you remember the Blizzard of '78? Many local residents were deeply affected as blinding snow and extreme winds destroyed homes filled with lifetimes of precious mementos, tore down power lines, ripped piers into fragments, and tossed granite boulders from seawalls like a child's wooden blocks as it raged for days through the South Shore. Join Chris Haraden, author of Storm the Century, for a look back at this unforgettable storm that wrought both massive destruction and lifelong memories.

Nantasket Beach Lecture Series is co-presented monthly by the Hull Lifesaving Museum, the Friends of the Hull Public Library, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation.
