PROJECT UPDATE

THE BRENT SPENCE BRIDGE 2017 MAINTENANCE PROJECT HAS PROGRESSED TO PHASE 3

Travel on the bridge has shifted
from the outside lanes to the two eastern-most lanes.
Please use caution when traveling through the work zone.
This weekend, maintenance crews completed the transition to Phase 3 of the Brent Spence Bridge Maintenance 2017 Project. Two-lane travel has resumed on the northbound and southbound decks of the bridge.

During Phase 3, the two eastern-most lanes on both decks of the bridge will be open for travel; the two western-most lanes on both decks are closed. Drivers should plan ahead and know which lane they need to be in to reach their destinations.

The maps below provide additional detail. These maps are also on BrentSpence2017.org

Phase 3 is the last phase of work that requires two-lane closures on the bridge, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Once Phase 3 is complete, all four lanes will reopen on the bridge during daytime hours and all exits closed for the project will reopen. Periodic nighttime-only lane closures are expected to continue on the bridge through mid-November.
