This past year, the Campbellford/Seymour Community Foundation celebrated 15 years of "Growing our Community". From community grants to our focused youth initiatives, we take pride in all our endeavours. Our sole focus is community - after all, it's in our name! 

Every end has a new beginning. As we look back on what we accomplished in 2016, we can look forward to 2017, in anticipation of continued opportunities to build community. 

If you would like to support our community building initiatives, t'is the season! Gifts to the Community Foundation benefit the whole community. You can make a donation in honour of someone special, or make an In Memorium donation for a friend or loved one.

2016 - A YEAR IN REVIEW
We continued to invest in our community!

$272,659  in grants
for 30 projects 
to  23 local organizations.
We funded 
10
summer jobs for local students

Students gained valuable work experience with local charities in a wide variety of job opportunities - from marketing, early childhood education, business administration and theatre production to a hospital laboratory assistant.

We presented 103
Peer Leadership Awards 
to students nominated by their peers as leaders, at Kent Public School, Hillcrest Public School and St. Mary Catholic Elementary School. 
Friends and family created the  1st Scholarship Fund
at the Community Foundation.

An award from the Joseph Rudolf Marth Memorial Scholarship Fund was presented to  Ellie Conte, who was nominated by her peers for contributing to the upbeat and positive atmosphere of the school community.
