The College Prep Invitational Launches Team Challenge in 2018

Riders are Encouraged to Submit Applications TODAY to Save on Fees

Miami, Florida - August 30, 2018 - The 2018 College Prep Invitational (CPI) Horse Show slated for January 12-14, 2018 in Palm Beach, Florida, has added an exciting new element to its weekend of events - The CPI Team Challenge. Designed to mimic the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association model of team competition , all CPI riders will be placed randomly on teams for the CPI Team Challenge. Teams will earn points from their performance throughout the weekend of competition, which will be tracked on a special event leaderboard. After the points are tallied at the end of the competition, CPI will award special ribbons and prizes to Team Challenge participants based on their team's overall performance.

How It Works
Once the teams are established, each team will be assigned designated Point Riders for each division, also to be chosen randomly by CPI. Different point riders will be assigned for the flat and over fences classes.

The CPI Team Challenge Point System will be scored as follows:
1st = 7 points
2nd = 5 points
3rd = 4 points
4th = 3 points
5th =2 points
6th = 1 point

CPI Team Challenge teams will be awarded 1st - 6th place ribbons and each team member will get additional prizes. There will be a leaderboard for the CPI Team Challenge that team riders and spectators can check throughout the weekend.
