Early dismissals for students means back-to-school time for teachers
Have you wondered why our district has two-hour early dismissals every month? These early dismissals provide our staff with valuable time to learn new strategies for teaching. Our teachers also use this time to meet
with their grade level or departmental teams to focus on how to best address student learning needs.
The district has also scheduled a number of days that are devoted to professional development. This year, the district will focus on high-leverage instructional strategies, such as how to provide students with effective feedback and how to use effective questioning techniques.
