A Portion of Western Row Road Is Closed
This Week for Storm Sewer Installation

Ongoing storm sewer work will require a full road closure this week on a portion of Western Row Road just east of the northbound I-71/Western Row exit ramp between Columbia Road and where the road takes a 90-degree bend (near the Duke Energy substation).  The closure began at 9 a.m. yesterday morning and will last until 5 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016, weather permitting. All residential driveways east and south of the closure will have access from Socialville-Fosters Road. The purpose of the closure is to allow for storm sewer installation.

The detour will use Socialville-Fosters Road to Columbia Road to Western Row Road.

This closure on Western Row Road is part of the Columbia Road Relocation project, which is part of a coordinated regional transportation program that provides safer travel and better access for residential traffic, local businesses and supports future development in southwest Warren County.

The Warren County Transportation Improvement District and its partners are working to upgrade the infrastructure of local roads to support increased travel to a growing number of industry-leading businesses and world-class tourism destinations. Next year, work will begin on I-71 at the Western Row Road Interchange, a project that will provide full movement access at the interchange. Northbound on and off ramps, as well as southbound on and off ramps will be built to ease congestion and improve safety at this important access point along the I-71 business corridor.
