Note from the Executive Director

Child welfare is unique in that there is no single profession that can claim the skills necessary to serve children and families at risk of or involved with maltreatment. APSAC has taken a leading role in ensuring that everyone who serves children and families can all speak the same language and understand each other's values and priorities. The understanding and respect for differences that are the foundation of our multidisciplinary group are a beacon of light at a time when tolerance sometimes seems to be in short supply.

To all the attorneys, physicians, nurses, social workers, clinicians, advocates, educators, investigators and others who have devoted their career to the wellbeing of children, thank you for making APSAC such a vibrant organization.

Best wishes for a warm and loving holiday season.
