Masters Award - Deadline Approaching!
Every year, members of Master Builders of Iowa create outstanding commercial construction projects throughout the state and MBI would like to recognize these efforts as part of our Masters Award competition!
The Masters Award recognizes the exceptional efforts of a construction team in executing the process of completing a project. While an aesthetically pleasing and functional design is always part of a successful project, it is not s criterion for selection of this award. Rather, this award looks for excellent management, imagination, perseverance under challenging conditions, and innovative construction techniques or practices.
The 2018 Masters Award is presented in the categories of $1 - 5 Million, $5M - 10 Million, and over $10M. MBI Members may only submit one project to be considered for an award.
Eligibility: All nominees, nominators, and endorsers must be current MBI members and the submitting contractor must be the General Contractor on the project submitted.

Projects completed between
January 1, 2017 - December 31, 2017
Application Deadline
: November 10, 2017
Submission must include a binder as well as a flash drive including all contents of the binder and must be received in the MBI office by 5:00pm on Friday, November 10, 2017

We just wrapped up the 5th Annual MBI-PAC Sporting Clay Builders' Classics in Riverside (Sep. 21) and Waukee (Sep. 28). Both were tremendous events, raising nearly $35,000 for the MBI-PAC to support pro-business, pro-construction policymakers at the Capitol. This event continues in the great MBI tradition of bringing together industry colleagues for a day of construction camaraderie.
