Apprenticeship Session Has Great Turnout!

The Registered Apprenticeship Information Session was held on November 30 at Penn Highlands Community College. Thirty-two participants representing business and industry, education and workforce development attended the workshop on establishing an employer-driven apprenticeship program.
Stuart Bass, Executive Director and John Tkach, Director of Projects from
Keystone Development Partnership presented the session. They presented information on a program that combines on-the-job learning with job related instruction to build worker skills and establish pathways to higher levels of employment and wages.
