Ingham Impact Podcast Featuring ITS
Technology is constantly changing. Our Information Technology Services (ITS) team has a big job to do in making sure the tools needed to support students and staff are in place. In addition to staying up-to-date on the latest software and hardware and trouble-shooting technology issues, they also provide technology services to some of our local districts, reaching thousands of students across the service area. ITS staff remains flexible, so they may provide the best customer service possible. Thank you for all you do, much of which we don't see. You rock!  #inghamimpact
Michelle Rutan Receives Award
Transition programs are life-changing for students with disabilities as they prepare for adult life and the world of work. Michelle Rutan is an Ingham ISD staff member who gives 110% each and every day for students. The Disability Network Capital Region recently presented Michelle with the Marsha Moers Community Advocate Award in recognition of her constant promotion of transition programs and community partners. The network was quoted as saying, "Not only is Michelle an advocate for the Network, more importantly, she is an advocate for all transitioning students." Congratulations Michelle!

Capital Area Career Center Events
Each year, the Capital Area Career Center hosts two large-scale events and invites the community to come in and see all the program opportunities they offer to students in our service area. The annual Open House will be held on December 7 from 4:30-7:30pm. All CACC programs will be open for families and community members to stop in and talk with students and instructors. The Student Showcase will be held May 17. This is a capstone event in which students share their year-end projects and experiences with fellow students, families, businesses and community members.
