Blue Ocean Swimming
Helping New Yorkers achieve their aquatic goals for over 25 years
At Blue Ocean Swimming you don't take swimming lessons. You learn how to SWIM.
It's time to take the plunge and learn how to swim for the first time, try learning  to swim again, become reacquainted with your love for the water, or fine-tune your  skills to achieve better results in competition. Join a class, workout, or clinic today and see results in weeks not years!
It's true! Here's a testimonial from
Lisa Kaplan, a recent participant in the  Level One Swimming program...

Dear Robert,
I cant THANK YOU enough!

I have always wanted to be able to swim, but fear of the deep end kept me out of the water. I am so elated and thrilled with what I have accomplished in your classes so far.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Truly. You are the best swim coach in the world!

I see it clicking for the other students around me and I know you will get to the ones who hold back. It's there.

I see why you exude such happiness, you truly have a gift and inspire your students and teach with such patience, skill and humor. It all makes sense!! Thank you for breaking it down and sharing your knowledge with so many. I am so pleased to be able to say that Coach Robert Valentin taught me how to swim.

This has been life changing.
Many thanks.

See you next week!

With so much gratitude,
Lisa

Robert!!! I crushed the IRONMAN swim last Sunday 1:10 for 2.4 miles in water that was not so placid at all!!! I did an awesome job drafting and moving around without losing buoy site too Much. Thank you for helping me become better and better. I was #2 in my age group out of the water. :-)  Xo Roni
