Greetings!
Congratulations to the winners of the first annual LVCC #LivValBiz awards! (Adopted for re-naming of Chamber newsletter) Nominations for the #LivValBiz award categories were submitted by and for LVCC members. The day of the August award luncheon was the quintessential wine country afternoon - perfect weather, a beautiful winery property - enhanced by the star power of a local television personality and the suspense of an envelope-opening Oscar award. Held at the lovely Concannon Vineyard, Brendan Finley, chairman of the LVCC board of directors delivered "State of LVCC" remarks before introducing KPIX Weather Anchor Roberta Gonzales who emceed the award presentations. The fun kicked off with the LVCC Ambassador of the Year award, presented to a very surprised Sheila Fagliano of Livermore Sanitation Inc. with a plaque, a very large bottle of Wente wine and tickets to that evening's concert. Here's the line-up of #LivValBiz award categories:
Next up - join us for the final luncheon in the series on Thursday September 21, 2017 at Wente Vineyards on Arroyo Road for the "State of the State" by Assembly Member Catharine Baker. Register at livermorechamber.org
with Assemblywoman Catharine Baker
