Here are a few highlights from the ongoing work at the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
New Video Promotes Santa Clara Destination

The CVB in conjunction with XPlorIT Interactive Media has produced a new video highlighting Santa Clara as a visitor destination.
This video follows last fiscal year's video "The Game" which received over 4,300 YouTube views.
 
The NEW video depicts Santa Clara as the Center of What's Possible and includes beautiful imagery of California's Great America, Intel Museum, Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara Convention Center, and Santa Clara University as well as numerous other locations. 

Convention Center & Aramark Host Client Event

Santa Clara Convention Center and in-house caterer ARAMARK staff recently hosted meeting and event planner clients to a "Savor the Experience" event held inside the Mission City Ballroom. Clients were treated to gourmet food, desserts, and cocktails as the Convention Center displayed its world-class food and beverage offerings.
 
The event included live music, an ice bar, and  seasonal themed food stations highlighting Spring, Fall, Summer, and Winter. To see photos from the evening's event, visit the Santa Clara Convention Center page on Facebook. 
CVB Launches New Santa Clara Sports Group (SCSG) Website

The Santa Clara Sports Group (SCSG), a division of the Santa Clara Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) recently launched a re-designed sports focused microsite to promote and sell Santa Clara as a sports destination. The site features information from all sports venues in the city, a comprehensive calendar listing Santa Clara sporting events, and colorful photos of the sports facilities.
 
SCSG meets on a quarterly basis to attract additional events to Santa Clara, to establish leads and future business for the city, and to focus on existing sporting events - with the ultimate goal of hosting more sporting events to increase the economic impact for the city and the hospitality community.
