Walton Charter Renewal Information Sessions and Voting:   Walton High School's current charter expires in June of 2018.  Much of Walton's success is directly related to the autonomy and innovation granted to us by the State of Georgia through being a conversion charter school.  Over the past two years, faculty and community have worked together to complete the renewal petition to continue our status as a conversion charter school until the year 2023.  Prior to submitting the proposal for state approval, both the faculty and parents must approve the petition by vote.  The full petition can be accessed on the Walton website under the news section, click HERE.

Walton High School will host parent meetings to give an overview of the renewal document and answer questions. Please plan on attending one of the following sessions and voting opportunities:

Tuesday, October 3 at 6:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall
Wednesday, October 4 at 7:45 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall

Voting will be available in the school lobby on Tuesday, October 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 4 from 7:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
