College Re-envisioning Student Professional Development Program
Partnering with professional academic services

The updated Student Professional Development Program (SPDP) will add an online course component (external to the degree plan; not for course credit) - comprised of four self-paced professional development and career readiness courses, which each have six modules to complete. This online program was developed externally by subject matter experts, as a combined effort between Bloomberg/BusinessWeek, Peregrine Academic Services, and Your Success Now. This program is specifically developed and tailored to universities for student professional development. Under the newly developed program, students will complete the online professional development courses before transitioning to the workshops facilitated by CBA faculty members, Dr. Rusty Karst and Dr. Jennifer Taylor. Each student will develop a personal professional online profile, which is a learning and developing profile that can be carried throughout his or her college years and into a professional career.  Upon successful completion of the the SPDP program, students will work with CBA Advisor, Cynthia Longoria to select and fulfill a required college immersion experience.
