Feminist Majority Foundation Releases Report on Title IX Coordinators
The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF)
released
a multi-year report entitled,
Reinvigorating the Role of Title IX Coordinator: A Requirement and Resource
. The report describes the current status of Title IX Coordinators in state education agencies, school districts and colleges and universities across the county, and discusses the important roles of Title IX Coordinators and ways to reinvigorate support for these employees who are responsible for helping their institutions eliminate sex discrimination in education.

Office for Civil Rights Releases a Landmark Title IX Resolution Letter
Last week, the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) released a landmark Title IX
Resolution Letter
and accompanying
Resolution Agreement
with Wesley College. It is the first time OCR has explicitly found and stated that Title IX also provides equity-based protections for those accused of violations. Additionally, as a result of its investigation, OCR requires Wesley College to provide remedies to the accused students. Read the detailed

ATIXA's Fall 2016 Certification Courses are Pre-Approved for Human Resources Professionals' Needs
HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) has pre-approved ATIXA's Fall 2016 2-day certification courses for 12 General HR recertification credit hours, and 24 credit hours for 4-day Coordinator Level One. Human Resources professionals requiring recertification credit hours will receive the activity ID upon completion of the event.
The use of the seal is not an endorsement by the HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that these programs have met the HR Certification Institute's guidelines to be pre-approved for recertification credit.
