Venting your shrink wrapped object is a simple and easy way to allow airflow under your shrink wrap cover. It reduces moisture buildup without compromising the covers integrity.
The main problem with vents is not having an adequate seal between the vent and the shrink wrap.
1.) Take off the adhesive backing and stick onto the cover.
2.) Pop the cover off of the vent, then cut and remove the shrink wrap from the exposed window.
3.) Grab inside the vent and press firmly around all edges to make sure the vent fully adheres to the shrink wrap. It has a raised lip so it does not allow any leaking into the opening. If there are any gaps between the vent and the shrink wrap, that's where the leaking will occur.
4.) Pop the top back on and you're good to go.
