Our team continues to make significant progress on multiple local improvement projects that will improve travel for those who live in and drive through Warren County. We are sincerely proud to have such tremendous partners committed to our regional transportation plan.
 
The City of Mason  recently completed the Bethany Road project .
 
And also over the summer, Deerfield Township completed widening work along Irwin-Simpson Road between Charleston Park and Butler-Warren Road.

Please take note of some upcoming road closures related to our active construction projects that will improve safety, ease congestion and expand access to business and recreational destinations in our area. 


From Friday, November 4, 2016, at 7 p.m., until Monday, November 7, 2016, at 7 a.m., the intersection of Socialville-Fosters Road and Innovation Way will be closed. 

This closure will be put into place in order to allow project cr ews to complete the
final paving and pavement markings for the newly-constructed roundabout at Socialville-Fosters Road and Innovation Way.

The detour for the closure is Mason-Montgomery Road to Western Row Road.
 
Also, as work continues to replace the bridge at Socialville-Fosters Road over I-71, various lane closures will take place nightly on north and southbound I-71 beginning at 7 p.m., until 7 a.m., the following day. These nightly lane closures will be in place Tuesday, October 25, through Saturday morning, October 29.  The detour for these closures is Mason-Montgomery Road to Western Row Road to Columbia Road.

We've recently completed a short video on the relocation of
Columbia Road. It's  less than two minutes long and provides a really nice visual overview of the traffic pattern in this area once this work is completed; click the image to the right to view it. 





 
We're in the homestretch on Kings Island Drive. Paving work is completed, trees have been planted, new landscaping is ongoing and the City of Mason expects to have this project completed well in advance of its scheduled completion date of December 31, 2016.
Paving work has been completed along Kings Island Drive and improvements are expected to be completed ahead of schedule.
 
Kings Island Drive has been widened and improved with a new left turn lane for southbound traffic turning into Kings Island. New medians, curbs and gutters, traffic signals, overhead signage, decorative lighting, street trees, landscaping and a bike path from Western Row Road to Great Wolf Drive have also been added.
