URGENT WEATHER PRECAUTIONS

Due to the predicted upcoming tropical storms, the authorities have given these updates we need to pay attention to. I was told that heavy rains should begin Tuesday evening around midnight and continue for 10 days or more. There are two storms following Irma that is going north up the gulf through Tennessee. These storms, they don't believe, will be at hurricane level with need to evacuate, but you need to be prepared to stay in. They have advised me to inform our widows and prayer warriors to be prepared with:

. plenty of water on hand

. canned food or dry food you can eat without cooking if necessary

. flashlights / battery operated lanterns and batteries for power shortages

. do not drive unless necessary during heavy rains

. make sure you have medications etc on hand.

Ladies, God is our Husband, no not fear. But do use this time to press into Him and establish the borders of our region. Pray for an awakening to Jesus Christ! On Tuesday Sept 12th (before the storm), we will have updated info at our Anna's Gate meeting.

Be Stirred to Get into the Arky Arky!

"The Lord told Noah, 'there's going

to be a floody, floody'...'Get those children out of the muddy, muddy'!" This "Arky, Arky" children's song was recently acted out during our meeting by some of the widows and prayer warriors of Anna's Gate. They made hand motions of waves and stomped their feet to get the mud off as we all laughed. One lady in the group whose childhood had been stolen by abuse seemed to shine extra bright as she sang and led us in the song and motions. The Redeemer had restored in her the sweetness of what was lost as a child. She truly knew how to enter the "arky, arky" and receive from Him!

We are in the Hebrew month of Elul until the evening of September 20th, 2017. It was in this month in history Noah's flood began and ended a year later! What can we learn from this?

In Gen 6:18, after Noah is told of the flood to come, God tells him something profound. We could miss it if we are not paying attention! "But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark - you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you." The word used here for establish is:

קוּם qûwm, pronounced, "koom". It means abide, accomplish, × be clearer, confirm, continue, decree, ..endure, × enemy, enjoin, get up, make good, help, hold, (help to) lift up (again), make, × but newly, ordain, perform, pitch, raise (up), rear (up), remain, (a-) rise (up) (again, against), rouse up, set (up), (e-) stablish, (make to) stand (up), stir up, strengthen, succeed, ..." (Taken from the Strong's Interlinear Concordance).

I was surprised it was not just a promise or commitment to establish and secure them. It included the stirring up and arousing of the covenant within Noah and his family! I am sure that was needed. Even though this song is cute with fun animals like long trunked elephants and bouncy kangaroos, it really was a scary time! They were in a storm of all storms and their courage needed "stirred"!

It is the same Hebrew word used in Gen 19:1 meaning, "to arise from a seat or a bed" of sleep; to change positions. Imagine if you were stuck in an ark with only seven other people and a boat filled with animals, for a year! The storm is raging and the ark is being tossed about! Emotions are high! Then there is the time of waiting and waiting, not knowing what to expect. I am sure there would be times of despair. Depression could try to settle on a person to the point they might want to lie down and give up! "Koom was needed in order to be "established" to help Noah and the others stand and fight the fear. We also need "Koom" so we can be "established" to stand and fight our fears.

In Judges 5:12 it is used to "arise" Barak to muster up courage: "Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away, O son of Abinoam!"

Deborah was to sing the song to bring awakening! Barak (which means, "lightning"), was to change positions to move into courage and leadership! Deborah means "bee" and she was to keep buzzing the song of the Lord so that "light" would move quickly throughout the army.

Abinoam means "my father is delight". Barak was the son of knowing the delight of the Father! It was birthed in him! He just needed it to be stirred so he could take the enemy captive!

It is time for us to "koom" ("Quwm") or to "stir up" and be established in God's covenant within us. This is a time to enter our purpose for this season! Between now and September 23rd please have times of prayer and fasting. Let's press in for the harvest and new beginnings!
