Bikes of the Week: Kevin McCarty's R1200RT and HP2  
        
We've got a twofer for you guys this week - Two bikes from Kevin McCarty in Pennsylvania. Kevin has a BMW R1200RT and a Kawasaki HP2 that he installed Rimstripes on.
If you look closely, you'll see not just one, but two sets of Rimstripes on Kevin's BMW - he put a Ref. Bermuda Blue stripe on top of the Ref. Silver Rimstripes he already had on there! The HP2 features 6144 Ref. Kawasaki Green Rimstripes.

Good morning Rob,
I am writing concerning your Tape Works product that I just applied to my 2010 BMW R1200RT motorcycle.
I first applied your #6148 Reflective Silver in ¼" width and was very impressed with the ease of application and the finished results.
It was almost completely un-noticeable in normal daylight or darkness as it matched the BMW wheel color perfectly and it lit up brilliantly when hit with a direct beam of light, either natural or man-made.
Thinking that I would like to add a tastefully subtle touch of color and wanting to keep within the BMW color theme, I asked and you delivered, your part #6143 Reflective Bermuda Blue which matched perfectly, the blue in the BMW roundel.
I carefully over-laid the ¼" Reflective Silver with the 1/8" Reflective Bermuda Blue.
The results were indeed subtle and distinctive.
The Reflective Bermuda Blue really pulls in the natural light on a bright day causing it to match even closer, the blue used in the BMW emblem.
I am thoroughly pleased with your product, your nifty application tool and the end result.

I am attaching three pictures of the bike with just the Reflective Silver applied.
I will send a second e-mail with three pictures of the bike after having applied the Reflective Bermuda Blue plus a single picture taken at night with a flash.
I will send a third e-mail with five pictures of the 2016 Kawasaki HP2 that we striped at the same time.
We applied your Reflective Kawasaki Green in ¼" and feel that it really sets the wheels off and compliments the bike perfectly.
Both applications to the BMW were done with the wheels off of the bike.
The Kawasaki striping was applied with the wheels left on the bike.
A second set of hands was used, and found to be beneficial, in both applications!
One person applying the tape, the other person rotating the wheel.
