WI CCC Plan Priority Webinar on Priority 10, "Increase Awareness and Knowledge of Issues Relevant to Cancer Survivors"
Upcoming WI CCC Plan Priority Webinar
The next WI CCC Plan Priority Webinar will feature
Priority 3 - Decrease high risk alcohol consumption. The webinar will be held on October 11
th, 2016 from 3:00-4:00PM and will highlight the marketing of alcohol. Speakers set to present include Julia Sherman of WI Alcohol Policy Project, Dr. Noelle LoConte of the UW Carbone Cancer Center/WI Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, and Dr. David H. Jernigan from the Center on Alcohol Marketing and Youth.

New Resources Added to the Online Plan |
New resources have been added to the online WI CCC Plan "Resource" section. You can access resources for specific priorities and strategies when viewing the
WI CCC Plan 2015-2020 online. Select the priority you wish to explore and scroll to the bottom right of your screen. Under "resources to take action" click on the strategy to find resources to support your implementation activities.
- CancerCare Resource: This resource can be found when referencing Priority 9, Strategy B. CancerCare serves as a tool to help identify counseling, support services, education, and financial assistance to cancer patients.
- Patient Navigation Barriers and Outcomes Tool (PN-BOT): This resource can also be found when referencing Priority 9, Strategy B. This tool aims to assist in data entry and management and reporting designs for cancer patient navigation programs nationwide.

shows that the majority of Americans would share their personal health information in order to support advancements in the latest medical care through the
Precision Medicine Initiative
. The Program, launched by President Obama during his State of the Union in 2015, is a volunteer federal program that seeks to work in conjunction with the National Institutes of Health and other industry leaders to advance health care research. Since its implementation, the number of participating individuals and health networks has increased. You can see a more complete summary of the program's progress
