Santa Clara Convention & Visitors Bureau
  eNews - September 2016
Here are a few highlights from the ongoing work at the Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
CVB's Visitor Marketing Campaign Helps Drive Weekend Business

The Convention and Visitor Bureau's (CVB) marketing campaign to fill Santa Clara hotel rooms on weekends saw nearly 4,000 online consumers visit participating hotel's package booking pages this July and August, 2016. Consumers were asked to visit santaclarafun.com then given the option to select the Great America/Santa Clara hotel package of their choice.

The print and electronic campaign focused on targeting consumers in the Greater Sacramento area and Fresno, both areas within a 300 mile drive radius of California's Great America theme park. The Great America/Hotel Packages represent as much as a 50% savings for consumers off mid-week prices and help fill weekend room nights in Santa Clara.
CVB Staff Provides Input for Related California Project

CVB Staff met with two representatives from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) recently to provide an update on the current Santa Clara hospitality market. JLL will be recommending what new hotel properties would fit best in Santa Clara's new Related California project near the Convention Center and Levi's Stadium.

CVB staff are leaders in the community in the area of hospitality and are often consulted for their opinions and information prior to any visitor related development.
