Ryan Buck had a great run this year on the autocross track. Recently, on Facebook he posted the following:
Yesterday at Road America during the Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street Car event I felt great on track... I could shift gears in all directions almost without thought with the T56 magnum from Silver Sport Transmissions and their effortless shifter... More track time and great sponsors added up to a 3.2 second reduction in lap times over last year leaving me with a 1:46.896 lap time. I am very happy since my only goal other than not breaking was a 2 second improvement on the short course.
His friend, Nick Lingua, chimed in with a comment on the post:
I've been fortunate to run Ryan's 63 through the gears and around some cones more than a few times. I remember taking a tight corner and having to upshift into 1st at NCM and thinking...."this is the first time I have ever actually considered cutting the factory floors on my 67 GTO" I cannot believe how well it shifts compared to my old 1:1 Richmond or really any transmission I've ever ran for that matter.
Ryan has improved dramatically this year, we look forward to what he'll do next season. Here's a video of his fastest time!
