Welcome back for an exciting new school year at Lehi High School! We have had a great start to our year thanks to our amazing students, parents and teachers. We hope that this weekly newsletter will help you stay informed with our many activities and upcoming events. This is a great time to be a Lehi Pioneer!!

Regents’ Scholarship 
Information Session
Wednesday, October 5 from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm in the LHS Auditorium

Grades 10 - 12

A representative from the Board of Regents Office will be at Lehi High School to talk about the requirements for the Regents Scholarship and answer questions.
 

College Day for Seniors

Monday, October 3 from 8:00 am – 10:15 am in the LHS Auditorium

(Seniors will go to their B5 class for roll call and then be released to come to the auditorium, students will be back in class for B7 & B8)

Representatives from all the Utah Colleges and Universities will be at Lehi High School to meet with seniors concerning college admission, scholarships, financial aid, etc.  There will be a general overview of the colleges and universities in the auditorium beginning at 8:00 am.  After the presentation in the auditorium seniors can attend three 30 minute sessions with the individual college representatives of their choice .  

***Parents are also invited to attend***


Win an IPad:
Come pick up a punch card from the front office.  Then have it punched when you go to a Lehi High School event.  After you get five punches turn in your card to the front office.  You will be entered  for a drawing for a new I-Pad. 
Raffle will be held October 31st
Events include sports, plays, student council activities, club activities, band and choir concerts.
You can have unlimited entries.

  Teacher Spotlight
Pet er Edmondson has taught for 27years, 26 at LHS. 
Hailing from southern Idaho farm country, he enjoys teaching Physics with Technology, Geology, and Astronomy.  He enjoys most making a connection between what is being taught and a real-life application.
  He is a runner and enjoys gardening, hiking, nature photography and spending time with his wife and children.

12th grade CCR Conferences

Schedule your CCR (College & Career Readiness) appointment through the “Online Scheduler” by clicking the icon above.

The “Online Scheduler” will be turned on September 7 – 19 (the password is “pioneers”).  If you need help in scheduling your appointment or have any questions, contact the counseling secretaries at      801- 610-8806.  Parents and/or students can schedule the CCR appointment.  Parents are encouraged to attend with your student.

Schedule your 30 minute individual CCR conference with the parent, student and counselor to discuss graduation requirements, college/university admission, scholarships, financial aid, career information and answer any other questions.
