SWCA Synod Vacation Bible School 2016 


Welcome to Special VBS Synews Edition 3! Thank you to everyone who shared their Vacation Bible School experiences with us this Summer!  

Faith, Canoga Park's VBS theme was Egypt: Joseph's Journey from Prison to the Palace, and the kids had an awesome time. The mummy making craft was a big hit! VBS participants ended up raising $40 for ELCA Good Gifts - they liked the idea of giving four families chickens!


Gloria Dei, Santa Maria had a wonderful time with their VBS program, Cave Quest.  Cave "g rounds kids in the rock-solid foundation of God's love, a love that takes us through life's dark times."  They created a wonderful "cave" environment in many of the rooms, including a special cave for the pre-schoolers!
