Back to School
To those of us who are parents, 'back to school' seems to come too soon. We try to fit so much into our summers so that, once the school bell rings, we hope our children have enjoyed a well deserved break and everyone can get back to a regular routine.

For those of us who are employers, 'back to school' rings a different bell. We lose some of our work force as they head back to college or get involved in sports, band and other school activities.

Either way it's a change. This year, I send off my twin girls to college. Here at Countryside we are wishing Libby, Abbey, Meeka, Cameron and Brook safe travels as they too head off to college. Since I started working here at Countryside some twenty plus years ago, I have seen many children start working here part-time, grow up, and go off to school. It is always a treat when they stop back in to say, 'Hi!' and tell us of the wonderful accomplishments they've been achieving. We are so proud of each and every one of them - as if they were our own and we hope they take a little bit of Countryside with them.

There are several varieties of plants in our nursery that like hot, dry weather. Stop in and let one of our  Illinois Certified Nursery Professionals help you select the right plants for your hot dry areas.
