From the President
Your Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, volunteers, and staff of your Four-Star Accredited Chamber continue to work on your behalf to provide relevant programming and opportunities for you to be successful in your business. We have several programs and events on the horizon and I encourage you to consider getting involved in one or more as a sponsor, a participant, a volunteer, or in another capacity to highlight your business.

The Leadership Lewisville program, which is the longest-running program in North Texas, will kick off in August. Through the program, participants will learn about the community where they live and/or work, they will further their leadership skills, and gain valuable connections with other leaders in the business community. This is a unique experience that will enhance your or a member of your staff's leadership skills.

On September 26 the Lewisville Area Chamber will host its Annual Golf Classic at Lantana Golf Club. There are several ways that you can promote your business. Gain valuable exposure as a sponsor, interact with participating golfers as a volunteer, or consider donating a prize to the raffle.

Later this fall on November 3 the Lewisville Area Chamber will execute the Southern Denton County Business & Community Expo, better known as Discover Local. Discover Local is where we introduce you, our members, to the community. You can highlight your business as a vendor or gain added exposure as a sponsor.

Cristina Rodriguez is happy to discuss each of these events with you to determine the best fit and return on investment for your organization. We value your engagement with the Lewisville Area Chamber and we will continue to seek additional ways to promote you.

Be sure to stay in touch with all things Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce by liking us on Facebook, following us on Twitter, or watching our videos on YouTube. The Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce consistently has A LOT of very exciting things going on in our community that may benefit you, so be sure to stay connected with us.
