Wednesday night SUP Yoga & Sunset Group Paddle

Sunset Group Paddles
Wednesdays through the end of August! 7:30-8:30pm.

Join us for an hour of easy paddling with a group at Washington County Park. This is a great opportunity to try SUP for the first time!

Class will be held at Washington County Park, 19482 County Park Rd Abingdon, VA 24211 on South Holston Lake. Class fee includes paddle board rental, PFD and paddle. If you have your own board there is no cost to join us!
Plan to be guided through brief paddle instruction and lead out to various coves in the lake.

It is recommended that you have a comfort level with open water and an open mind to swim. SUP is typically done barefoot or you can wear water shoes or sandals. Please plan to get wet!

Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga
Yoga class on top of the water! Classes will run Wednesdays 6-7pm through August 31st.

Class will be held at Washington County Park, 19482 County Park Rd Abingdon, VA 24211 on South Holston Lake. Class fee of $25 includes paddle board rental. If you have your own board then the cost is $15.

Students are guided through brief paddle instruction and lead out to various coves in the lake where they are led through a 60 minute vinyasa style flow. Classes are open all levels and ages of students. Options are given throughout the class to accommodate varying yoga practices. It is recommended that students have basic knowledge of yoga and an open mind to swim. Please bring water and come hydrated. Students in the class are typically barefoot and dressed comfortably for "downward dog on a SUP".

Park entry fee is $1.50.
