Rabbinic Text Study with Micah Weiss at 1:00 PM in the Library

"Counting to Revelation" - Saturday  is the seventh day, or one week, of the Omer. 'Malchut sh'b'Chesed'. But what on earth does that mean? In this class we will explore the kabbalistic spiritual practice of counting the 49 days between Pesach and Shavuot. Whether you are a master kabbalist, or have no idea with the sefirot are, this class is for you. Counting the Omer is one of Micah's favorite spiritual practices and he's excited to try to share some of why he finds it to be such a special time of the year.
Spring into Social Action!
Manna for Manna Food Drive - Collections in the Foyer!
It is now the 4th day of the Omer and the end of Passover is in sight. When you go to the grocery store please purchase some extra food and bring it to Adat Shalom.  We've already collected more than 500 pounds but Manna needs more!  We can do it! Manna needs baby formula and food, canned protein, dried and canned beans, whole grain pasta/other grains.  Contact Clint Wolcott or Rena Milchberg  for more information or to make a financial contribution to Manna.
