Meet Sarika!

Sarika is a Registered Physiotherapist who has been practicing for 16 years!  Her ambition to help the community led her to a career in Physiotherapy.  Sarika is interested in helping patients get back to the life they love without pain.  Her advanced training allows her to treat a variety of conditions. She has experience with orthopedic, musculoskeletal conditions, vestibular therapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy for both male and female incontinence, sports injury rehab and post surgical rehab. She has experience working with pediatrics all the way through to geriatrics.  In clinical practice, her treatment philosophy includes using manual therapy, muscle training, motor control strategies and modalities to reduce pain and increase function.  Sarika provides individualized treatment plans and exercise programs geared toward the level and goals of the patient.

This patient was came in for regular diabetic foot care maintenance. What was first thought to be a corn turned out to be a piece of bird seed that had embedded itself into the patients foot.  SHE DIDN'T EVEN FEEL IT due to diabetic neuropathy.

If this had of been left untreated the patient may have faced infection and the possibility of losing her foot.

Many of us sit at an office at work. Yet many of us fail to listen to our bodies when it screams.  There is no doubt among researchers that prolonged periods of sitting can cause harm to your health.  These 4 common ailments caused by excessive sitting that can be treated with Massage Therapy.
