Succession Planning for You and Your Organization
On behalf of The Greater Bethesda Chamber’s Nonprofit Roundtable, all members of Chamber are invited to attend a special program focused on “Succession Planning for You and Your Organization,” a workshop for nonprofit and for-profit leaders.  This workshop will be held at the Chamber (7910 Woodmont Avenue, Suite 1204, Bethesda) on Friday, June 14 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Transitioning your nonprofit or business requires careful planning at every stage. As an organization expands, loses key employees, provides promotional opportunities, or increases sales and staff, best practices show that they need a succession plan in order to ensure that they have employees on hand ready and waiting to fill new roles. This is especially important for the role of the top decision maker. Join event sponsor Joanne Hurt (Executive Director, Wonders Early Learning + Extended Day ) and members of the Nonprofit Roundtable as they hear from Succession Planning expert, Karen Schuler of Raffa-Marcum. Karen will detail the steps you and your organization need in order to be prepared for the future. As seating is limited, register now for this free member-only workshop. Continental breakfast and handout materials included.

For more information, please contact Ginanne Italiano at 301-652-4900 or gitaliano@greaterbethesdachamber.org.

Business Toolbox
The connectivity of today’s employees has left executives unable to overlook the cybersecurity of their organization any longer. It’s no longer a question of if your business will be targeted by cybercriminals, it’s now a matter of if your cybersecurity precautions will fail you. Cybercriminals have reached a new level of sophistication – they can attack your infrastructure at all times of day, using automated algorithms, making it nearly impossible to keep them out all of the time.  Staying current with your technology  and processes is the only way to protect your business from harm.
