Great Hearts Live Oak Family Newsletter-July 3rd, 2020
Greetings, Live Oak Owls!

This has been an eventful week for Great Hearts Live Oak. The progress on the building never ceases to delight, but our focus this week is on the true heart and soul of the school: our incredible teachers. On Wednesday we had the joy of welcoming our teachers, specialists, and interventionists to their first official day of our inaugural year. From remote locations throughout the United states, this remarkable group of committed professionals are immersing themselves in the rich content they will be teaching your children in just a few short weeks.

In addition to our teachers, Mr. Nolan and I also had the pleasure of welcoming Nurse Kari Leal and Facilities Technician Abram Dick. Both Ms. Leal and Mr. Dick are energetically focused on creating a safe environment for our community. We are truly blessed by their experience!

While we recognize there is much uncertainty in San Antonio and the great State of Texas, what has not and will not change is our passionate commitment to cultivate the hearts and minds of our students through the pursuit of the True, the Good, and the Beautiful. While we eagerly await the day when we can safely meet face to face, we will be hosting a Facebook Live event on Saturday, July 25, for our GHLO community. Look for more details in the next few weeks. In the meantime, we look forward to seeing you!

May you soar on wings of wisdom and strength,

Headmaster Audelo
