July 2018 Updates
This past month has been another busy one for UHPP. We have been continuing our fight for Medicaid expansion, while also navigating the volatile federal climate, and working to keep our outreach and navigator efforts continuously strong. Join us in our efforts by attending a UHPP event listed below!
#Vote3forME
The Utah Decides Healthcare ballot initiative has officially been added to the November 2018 ballot by the Lieutenant Governor. We now have a new name and plenty of incoming merchandise to help spread the buzz! From now until November: Vote Yes on Prop 3!

Click here to visit Prop 3's website for a new FAQ sheet and ideas on how to stay involved.
Take Care Utah is here to stay
The Trump administration recently cut outreach and enrollment funding for navigator grants-- again. However, the good news is that UHPP and Take Care Utah saw these cuts coming, and we have been seeking alternate funding to make up the difference, in preparation for the inevitable.

That means Take Care Utah's enrollment assisters are not going anywhere. You can still get help by calling 2-1-1 or visiting www.TakeCareUtah.org
**Call to Action for Volunteers**
Proposition 3 needs your help! Click here to sign up for action alerts and information on volunteering opportunities. Until election day, we are looking for volunteers to help with tabling booths and attending community events in Prop 3 gear. We want every voter to go into the poll knowing who we are and why we need Medicaid expansion!
UHPP in the Community
Happy Fourth of July! We marched for Proposition 3 in the West Jordan parade, attended the Jordan Park food truck event, and spoke with Utah families at Murray and Park City's Independence Day festivities. Thank you so much to our 45 volunteers for powering through the heat of the day to help out. We couldn't have done it without you!
UHPP attended the Crossroads Urban Center barbecue where we talked with consumers and candidates about Medicaid expansion and recruited more support for our efforts.
