This Sunday we are celebrating“All Saints’ Sunday”. As is our custom, we will read the names of all who have died this past year, and we will go out to the churchyard following the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services to read the names and remember all of the parishioners, friends and family members who are buried in that sacred space. The choir will be leading us in singing some of our favorite hymns for the Feast of All Saints’. Following the 10:00 a.m. service you are cordially invited to join us for a coffee hour reception for Dn. Mike Choquette, as we celebrate the first anniversary of his ordination. Please join us, all are welcome.
The 2022 pledge campaign is underway and I thank all of you who have sent in your pledge cards already. I am so grateful for your generosity to the parish. Please prayerfully consider making a pledge and do remember that all pledges matter! We are asking that pledges be returned by Sunday, November 21, " Thanksgiving Sunday".
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and we are collecting food for the “Community Harvest” collection to benefit the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. Please take a bag at the back of the church with the list and purchase some of the items for the pantry. Please return all bags no later than Sunday November 21, which is the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
See You All on Sunday,
Rev. Fran +
Reminder: Mask Mandate Still in Effect
Please note that St. Mary’s is still following a mask mandate that the Diocese of Chicago and the CDC is requiring. Please wear a mask at all times when inside the building. Lectors may take the mask off when reading. If you attend coffee hour, please know that masks are required and you may remove your mask when you have gotten your food and are seated. Please wear your mask if walking around the hall.

The Showing Days / Times
Have Been "Chosen"!
After talking to many of you and trying to settle on the best ways to share the Christian TV series, "The Chosen", we are ready to go!!
There will actually be two options. Beginning on Sunday, November 8, those who are interested can grab your goodies after the 10:00 service and go back to the education wing for the viewing and discussion. On Wednesday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m., Catherine Carroll has graciously offered to have a "second showing" of the series at her home for people who can't make it on Sundays. (This also allows for an option to catch up if you miss the Sunday showing.) If you want to check the series at other times, you may watch online at Angel Studios.
Obviously, with holidays coming up, we may have to take some breaks, but we can continue weekly as much as possible for Season 1 (Episodes 1--8) and Season 2 (Episodes 1--8). Season 3 is almost funded and will probably go into production in March 2022. Join us for the journey!

31st Annual Community Harvest
It’s that time of year again! A time when our wonderfully generous community comes together to help us provide food to our neighbors in need throughout the area. Your donations help us feed thousands every year! There are bags in the back of church, with a list of suggested donations attached. If you wish, please pick up a bag, fill it with your donations, and make sure to return it back to St. Mary's by Sunday, November 21. We will get all the donations delivered to the Pantry.
If you are unable to pick up a bag at church, your donations can be delivered directly to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry. See theCommunity Harvest flyerfor complete details, including suggested donations, and drop-off times at the pantry. Thank you for your support!!
