February's Sweepstakes Winners
Each month we draw 3 names out of the hat and add them to the winner's list, 36 winners each year. Sometimes a winner just happens to be a previous winner!
February 2021's GRAND PRIZE winner: Give a congratulations to the most fortunate Founding Member ever, Erich Weidner, a.k.a. "Mettius"! Erich was last month's Second Prize Winner. 2021 is surely his year!
"Wow! Thanks so much. This is probably the 2nd time I've ever won something of significance. Both on AmazingRibs.com", Erich said.
Erich picked the Modern Home Products JNR4 Gas Grill, valued at $1,088!
"Some may feel the JNR4 has an old fashioned appearance. Whether they're dated or classic is in the eye of the beholder. Made with cast aluminum, it is practically indestructible. It will withstand harsh weather, abuse, and never rust. MHP owners love to brag about how old their grill is, how they never clean it, and especially how they never cover it...these cookers are time-tested, rock solid, versatile, and unique." - Max Good, Director of Product Reviews
SECOND PRIZE winners get to pick 1 prize from among the Pit Barrel Cooker, Ergo Chef knife set, Fireboard remote thermometer, Slow 'N Sear Kettle Deluxe package, or a CyberQ digital controller; they run in value up to $515.
February 2021's SECOND PRIZE winner is Samuel Moore Jr, a.k.a. "Moroc".
Moroc selected the CyberQ temperature controller from BBQ Guru, a $399 value!
Paid members have 36 chances per year to win, and the odds are about 1 in 450 per year! Grand Prize winners are not eligible for additional prizes for 10 years after winning. Second & Third Prize winners are eligible for a different prize starting the next month.

Spark Grill, by Max Good
Everyone is talking about the sexy new Spark Grill. It catches your eye and draws you in, then throws roadblocks in the way. We wonder if Spark's uncommon effort to improve on the simple, tried and true, beloved charcoal grill will come to fruition. At this time we don't recommend the Spark.

Show Us What You're Cooking!
Speaking of cooking, the following shots are from the member submissions the past month in our new "Show Us What You're Cooking (SUWYC) Volume 20 - Winter 2020/2021" sticky topic in our Show Us channel.
Well folks we are in the dog days of winter, so to kick this off here's some stick-to-yo-bones grub from Richard Chrz. He says it is just a simple meatloaf, but nothing he makes is that simple. I would load up on that stuff!
How about this Korean beef on rice made with homemade kimchi by theroc. Now that is some comfort food!
Our resident "chicken man" (HouseHomey) was back it this month with this wonderful creation...cumin-braised chicken wings. A caramelized onion/garlic reduced and thickened in a chicken stock. Served with quinoa, tomato, avocado and green onion.
Next up we have a wonderful creation from Attjack. There is not much else to say...I will let the beef yaki udon with bok choy, shiitake, onion and scallions do the talking.
In keeping with our theme this month....check out this comfort food that Troutman whipped up. Here we have some awesome beef plate ribs, and some prosciutto wrapped asparagus for the win!
Despite the snow, Polarbear777 took some yard birds out for a spin on the rotisserie. He then paired them up with some waffles for a great breakfast combo that was sure to warm the soul.
Next up we had out to the west coast for some killer beef short ribs. I would bet that these were a huge hit on game day. Nice work, sigaris !
Here we have another awesome game day creation....smoked queso dip from DavidNorcross.
No highlight reel would be complete with out some brisket! Check out the smoke ring on this brisket point by Joetee
Now some more stick-to-yo-bones food. How about this huge pork shoulder that was smoked up by ssandy_561. Great bark!
Rain, snow or shine, Dtax is still gonna be cranking out some short ribs for the big game. Delish!
Now for a short trip across there pond to visit our favorite Swede, Henrik. He had one of his custom smokers fired up to make some glorious Iberico ribs. Fullkomlighet!
We just could not leave Ernest out on game-day. How about this spread...potato skins, ribs and wings! What else do you need?
Everyone loves a perfectly barked up brisket, especially in these winter months. Nice work, Burkester.
Old Glory had a special treat with these Snake River Farms pork chops. These were prepared on his Weber Summit Charcoal Grill.
Next up we have some picanha from Nikkei. What a great meal for a cold winter night.
Let's close this month out with one of my favorites, especially in these winter months, patty melts! SheliaAnn topped this one off with some Gouda cheese for an amazing sammie!
