Hybrid Tractor Combines Deere And IH Models
First David Evans learned how to "twin" a pair of Farmall H's. Then the York, Penn., man put his knowledge to use on a pair of Farmall C's. But for his latest effort, he decided to try something different. He put together a 1942 Farmall H and a 1945 John Deere B.

Thin-Wheel Sprayer Built For Cut-Down Plants
Larry Hall, Clarkston, Mich., wanted to build a sprayer that would let him work in solid-seeded standing crops without doing damage. So he turned a 1982 Chevy Luv pickup into a narrow-wheel sprayer equipped with 2 1/2-in. wide steel wheels.

Restored 830 Deere Has A V-8 Diesel
"The comment I get most often when people see my tractor is 'I didn't know Deere built an 830 with an 8-cylinder V-8'," says Elmer Friesen, a Deere tractor collector and restorer from Rosenort, Man. "After they walk around and ask a few more questions, I usually tell them there's only one Deere 830 with a V-8, because I had it built."

Blueberry Cobbler
1 stick butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp cloves
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups blueberries
1/2 cup blueberry sauce
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Sift flour and measure. Sift dry ingredients then add juice and vinegar. Beat thoroughly after each addition. Add berries and stir just enough to blend into dough. Bake for about 40 mins. in 350 degrees oven. Enjoy!
