Citrus Heights Businesses:
COVID-19 Updates
What the Latest Public Health Order Means For Citrus Heights Businesses
Citrus Heights is officially moving further into stage 2 of California's Resiliency Roadmap, now that the County's Public Health Order has been amended today ( click here for more County information ).

This means that we have more clarity on the types of businesses that can move forward with opening, in accordance with State guidelines.

If your business is among the industries that can re-open starting today, you will need to complete the following, in order to resume operations:

  1. Perform a detailed risk assessment and implement a site-specific protection plan to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  2. Train employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them.
  3. Implement individual control measures and screenings, depending on your industry.
  4. Implement disinfecting protocols.
  5. Implement physical distancing guidelines.
  6. Complete your industry-specific checklist (listed here) and post a copy publicly, for customers and employees.

Our Economic Development Division has compiled a list of resources for re-opening Citrus Heights businesses. Please check out the COVID-19 Business Roadmap for guidelines and check-lists required for each industry to re-open.
