THIS WEEK

April 28-May 4

Men's Open Seminar
Monday, April 29 | 7-8:30 PM
Men, please join us as we walk through Sexual Sanity for Men by David White. This is truly the fight of our generation. What are we doing as men of the church - as followers of Christ - to truly set ourselves apart from the sexualized culture we live in? Nearly 70% of us fall into sexual sin on a regular basis. It's time to fight this. We encourage you to come and battle this sin alongside your brothers. Bring your son(s) to help lead him (them) to holiness in this area that threatens so many. The next seminar is in the CLC chapel from 7-8:30 PM on April 29 (led by Stewart Neely).

Men's Fellowship Breakfast
Saturday, May 4 | 7-8:30 AM
Christ Covenant's Ministry to Men is hosting our May breakfast on Saturday, May 4, from 7-8:30am at Stacks Kitchen (11100 Monroe Rd. Matthews). All men (16 yrs & up) are invited to come join the discussion on "Sexual sin is the fight of our church's generation" led by Theo Facinoli from the Set Free leadership team. Guests welcome! The only cost is the cost of your own breakfast. Space is limited to the first 38 men. Register by May 1 on the Men's Ministry webpage ( christcovenant.org/mens-min).

 Missions and Outreach

ProjectSHARE for April and May:
We are collecting new or very gently used books for Matthews Elementary School and Crestdale Middle School students to use during our Seek the City camps. It is very important this year to collect many books as both camps will be held on the campus of Christ Covenant. Books may be dropped off in main lobby any Sunday in April or May or the church office during the week. The goal is a minimum of 200 books for each club.

To see a full list of suggested books, click here.

Walk in Her Shoes: Mom's Journey Home
OPEN HOUSE
You are invited to an experiential tour of Changed Choices focusing on the impact of incarceration on families. It will be held at Hawthorne Lane UMC (501 Hawthorne Lane, 3rd floor) on Sunday, May 5, from 2-4 p.m. For more information about Changed Choices, an outreach partner of Christ Covenant, please go to changedchoices.org.

Missionaries of the Week: April 28

Greg & Dolly Joines
Greg is planting Christ Central Presbyterian Church in Corvallis, OR, home to Oregon State University and one of the most non-religious counties in the U.S. Pray for an RUF campus minister to start the only RUF in Oregon at Oregon State University in the fall of 2020. Pray they would find a worship leader, as their current one is moving this summer. Pray for them to grow as a church as they particularized this spring.

COVENANT DAY SCHOOL

Covenant Day School Summer Camps
Christ Covenant families and friends are invited to join Covenant Day for its 2019 Summer Camps program! Camps are led by a passionate team of faculty, staff, students and alumni. Our aim is to inspire and challenge campers while nurturing them in the love of God and formation of Christian character. This year's expanded summer camp offering includes sports, academics, arts, enrichment and life skills for TK through 12th grade. Go to covenantday.org/summercamps to view our new interactive webpage and search for camps by grade level or week!
