A unique set of teachings for attaining awakening in a single lifetime will be presented for the first time at KTD Monastery in November by Khenpo Karma Tenkyong - and all our dharma friends are invited to attend via Zoom teleconferencing service.
“The Six Points for Swiftly Attaining Awakening” is a teaching composed 900 years ago by the 1st Karmapa, Dusum Khyenpa, who lived in Tibet from 1110–1193.
As founder of the Karma Kamtsang lineage – known as the lineage of practice, and the lineage of definitive meaning – Dusum Khyenpa distilled the teachings of the Kagyu masters as they came from the esteemed master Gampopa, who united the two streams of Kadampa and Mahamudra practices into one.
Dusum Khyenpa calls these teachings “indispensable” for those who wish to attain buddhahood in one lifetime and one body. Khenpo Tenkyong will offer an introduction to the Six Points and the means of practicing them.
May all beings benefit!
