In an industry based on relationships, it is still possible to conduct business, successfully, and build trust with clients without meeting face-to-face.
Below are 5 tips to assist you in building those relationships and establishing trust with your Medicare supplement clients.
- Medicare-age clients are no strangers to technology. They’re used to e-mailing friends and chatting with the grandkids on FaceTime, Skype or Zoom. So, conducting a meeting via phone or video chat will come naturally to many.
- e-Apps are a great way to submit business. They are quick and easy and clients can sign electronically. In addition, e-Apps can be processed faster than paper apps, which means you get paid sooner.
- If you ditch the drive time, you may be able to get more done. Just think of how many people you can meet with if you’re not traveling from appointment to appointment.
- People who may be reluctant to invite you into their home may be more agreeable to chatting with you on the phone.
- Staying in touch is easy, too. Sending a quick note via email and attaching a PDF or link to an interesting article is a good way to let your clients know they are important to you.
