  • Wilton Library is closing early at 5pm this Thursday, April 11 to prepare for the Wilton Reads 2019 Author Visit with Heather Morris, The Tattooist of Auschwitz. The event is waitlist only. Doors re-open at 6pm for registered event attendees.
  • So many thanks to the 2019 Spring Benefit committee for all their hard work, generosity and creativity in making the Under The Sea benefit such a success. Our largest sale features more than 70,000 items for all ages sorted in 50+ categories - history, biographies, travel, and science fiction; gently used, collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, and books on CD. There is something for everyone. Hours and details:
  • Saturday, April 27: 7-9am for Early Buyers with $15 admissions fee, 9am-5pm free to the public
  • Sunday, April 28: 1-5pm, free admission
  • Monday, April 29: 10am-5pm, books ½ price, free admission

Tea Tasting with Bubble & Brew

Join mother-daughter duo Wendy and Madison Fellows for their first guided tea talk and tasting. Wendy and Madison are founders of Bubble & Brew, an antique French firetruck, turned local food truck, launched in April 2018. They specialize in fine teas from around the world and will cover a tasting, brief history and potential health benefits of tea. Teas sampled will be favorites from each category: White: Darjeeling Moonshine, Green: Jasmine Jade Pearls, Oolong: Bao Zhong Oolong, Black: Koucha Black, and Tisane: Peach Passionfruit. Both Wendy and Madison are certified by Bruce Richardson's Tea Master Class, but their love for tea dates back to their childhood years with family, their travels and tea tastings. CT Poetry Society Workshop

Come join us for a fun and relaxing evening. We'll supply the canvas, paints, brushes and a collection of masterpieces to copy and inspire you. No art experience required -- just a desire to pick up a brush, have fun and let your inner self out! A $5 fee will be collected upon arrival to cover the cost of materials.
