Task Force Created to Explore Possibility of Multi-Site Fall Synod Assembly
Kerry Fehrman, Vice-President of the Synod, has appointed a task force to explore the possibility of a multi-site Synod Assembly this fall and asked them to report to the Synod Council by June 1. The task force is in the process of compiling information on the safety, feasibility, and legalities of a multi-site assembly. The rapidly changing situation due to COVID-19 has forced synods to postpone/cancel their assemblies and seek out safer ways to conduct the business of the assembly. More information will be provided to the Synod once the Task Force has made its recommendation to the Synod Council.
