Jjimmyjj: The news and analysis the last 36hrs has been absolutely phenomenal-- I've never seen anything like it. 

18mo ago, any one if those articles would have had us talking about "windows" for a month.

The article 8 evidence recently, if released last year, would have had us over the moon.

Now, though, we just shrug and say "Fine, but the international visa/mc are still at a program rate, so who cares?"

Well, I care. 

I am grateful we're seeing the real deal actions by the GOI and CBI occurring right in front of our eyes. And I'm especially grateful for all the teams here for bringing it to us.

I know. It’s 2019. We have contactless cards, peer-to-peer mobile payment systems, and services that will offer you an installment loan for a pair of pants. But I’m not here to talk about any of those newfangled schemes. No, no. I’m here to talk about cash.

Cash gets a bad rap these days. Rewards credit card fans think it’s silly to miss out on points. Salad stores tried to ban it. My local baseball stadium, always looking for new ways to get someone, anyone to attend a game, does not want my money—at least, not that money.

Despite the naysayers, I come in humble defense of cold, hard cash.

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Fouad Hussein chaired an expanded meeting of the Special Committee to prepare the State Budget Strategy 2020-2022

During the meeting, which was attended by a number of members of parliament in the Finance Committee and members of the advisers and agents of the Ministry of Finance and Planning discussed several key pillars in the preparation of the general budget, including determining the cost of extracting oil per barrel and expanding export capacities and taking into account the activation of the local market and the movement of local capital
