Literacy for a Better BC

Call for Presenters
The Decoda Literacy Conference will be packed with interactive, dynamic and informative learning sessions. Together, through an exciting knowledge exchange, o ver 200 participants will focus on emerging trends and critical issues and develop skills to tackle literacy challenges tha t face B riti sh Columbians. 

We invite practitioners, researchers, literacy outreach coordinators and others involved in literacy and learning to submit proposals for workshops and panel discussions on advancing literacy and learning, helping to make BC a better place. Topics may include:

  • Adult literacy at home, at school, at work and in the community
  • Literacy and essential skills
  • Family literacy
  • Services for immigrant and refugee adults, children and families
  • Community-based learning
  • Clear language and design
  • Financial, health and digital literacy

  2. Title and a brief description of the session 
  3. Maximum number of workshop participants
