Kayley McColley, a student activist in Wausau, wants to help kids learn about Black history and race. Her goal was to buy a few dozen books to donate. But with the support of the community, she’s raised enough money for a small library.
UW System looking at consolidation between UW branch campuses, technical colleges

Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) President Morna Foy said she has had an initial conversation with him about his consolidation ideas and doesn’t support any proposal that involves UW System assuming responsibility for a technical college. Neither does she believe Wisconsin’s employers and the communities that technical colleges serve would endorse such an approach.
