The District will be sending a school reopening update on Friday, July 17th, including a survey to gain more feedback from families to inform planning.

It is anticipated that the plan for fall 2020 will be released the week of August 3, 2020.

Special School Board Meeting on Weds., July 15

The School Board will have a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, July 15 at 6:15 p.m.

During the meeting, the Administrative Team will provide an update on the status of Planning for 2020-2021, adhering to rigorous safety/health guidance. Both operational and instructional factors will be evaluated.

The Board will discuss two school day options to provide in-person learning this fall. The first is a blended in-school and remote day option and the other is a full in-school option.

Public comment process: For those who wish to make public comment remotely, please communicate with the Board via email to the Board address ( [email protected]). Please note, the duration of public comment is limited to three minutes, per School Board policy. These communications need to be received by 6:00 p.m. on July 15, 2020 to be read at the meeting.

Physical attendance is discouraged by public health reasons, but any member of the public physically attending the meeting, in the Carleton Washburne Resource Center located at 515 Hibbard Road, Winnetka IL, will have the opportunity to submit live comments.

This Board Meeting format complies with updated Open Meetings Act requirements. A recording of the meeting will be posted on the District website within the week.

iPad Return Schedule for July/early August
A representative from the Technology Department will be in front of Washburne to check in iPads/misc tech every Wednesday. The district tech coordinator on site will review all returned iPads. Once you arrive at the front of the school please text 847-924-0440 to let us know you have arrived.

Please make sure the following has been fulled before you check it in an iPad.

* iPad has been updated to the latest operating system (iPad OS 13.5)

* Log out of all Apple IDs

* Passcode has been removed/turned off

* Screen Time has been Turned Off

* iPad is fully charged
