Facilitating Cashless Fare Payment: In Boston, new kiosks on train platforms will allow for electronic payments on commuter rail services and will facilitate transfers. Read more
 
Temperature Checks at Stations: As the economy reopens in Malaysia, users of the Rapid KL system are required to have their temperature checked before entering train platforms. Rapid KL has also applied red tape markings on platforms and trains to indicate where passengers should stand and practice social distancing. Read more  View images
  
Sound the Horn to Honor Transit Workers: Transit agencies nationwide are encouraged to “#SoundTheHorn,” today, May 21, at 3 p.m. (ET) to honor and say thank you to all public transportation employees working though the coronavirus outbreak. Participants are asked to simultaneously sound two one-second horn blasts from vehicles in service.
