Dear FVAMC Community Members - Asalamu Alaikum,
I would like to inform you that Br. Omar Tawil will be leaving his position as Imam of FVAMC to pursue other opportunities. His last day at FVAMC will be immediately after Ramadan.
Please join me in thanking Omar for all his contributions over the past two years. His positive attitude, approachability as well as his work with our youth have been instrumental in furthering the goal of FVAMC in nurturing the Muslim identity of our youth. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kinda for all of her help with managing the office and bookkeeping for Sunday School and AQL. This very special family touched our lives and will be missed. We wish them all the success in the future!
I want to assure the community that plans are in place to ensure continuity of our services and activities after Omar’s departures. There will be no interruption to the Youth Group, religious services, FVAMC Academy, or any other service where Omar currently has a role.
